Termites and wood
Termites work out of sight. The inspection finds the signs: mud tubes, soft sills, a wing pile on a windowsill after a warm spring day.
You get a written report that says what we saw and where. It records the day, not a promise about the future, and it doesn't pay for damage.

Questions about termites
Does an inspection report promise anything?
No. It states what we saw on the day. A termite plan or bond has its own written terms, which we give you before you sign.
Can I get one before I buy?
Yes. Ask for it when you call, and we'll send the report to you and, if you want, to your agent.
Are carpenter ants the same thing?
No. They nest in damp wood but don't eat it. The inspection tells you which one you have.
Buying or moving into an older house?
Ask for the termite inspection with the first-week visit.
